I work as a founding engineer — owning product surfaces and the load-bearing systems underneath them: payments, real-time coordination, timed attempts, data sync, admin tooling, and production recovery paths.
Most of my time goes to AfterBoards and AfterGrad, exam-prep products I build as the sole engineer on one Turborepo monorepo. The work is in the systems: reconciliation-safe payouts (idempotent settlement against Cashfree, holding ambiguous gateway failures until reconciliation, with a ~30-minute Razorpay→Cashfree failover during a live outage), a multi-provider AI question pipeline — versioned prompts, automatic fallback, batch generation/review — that cut question creation from days to ~30 minutes, and a timed exam engine with resumable attempts, server-authoritative scoring and section-wise analytics that has served 100,000+ exam attempts. Sole engineer for AfterBoards & AfterGrad — exam prep for IPMAT, CUET, and CAT, on one Turborepo monorepo. I own the systems end to end: shared web/mobile product architecture, reconciliation-safe payouts, real-time multiplayer, resumable timed attempts with section-wise analytics, AI question workflows, Redis resilience, and solo quality gates.
Led a 4-person frontend team building React Native driver and rider apps for a Guwahati ride-hailing startup, with live GPS tracking against an Azure backend.
Built the MVP from scratch as the first engineer — the product that became AfterBoards — before joining full-time once it became commercially viable.
Built a snippets / link-management system end to end — serverless Cloudflare Workers backend, GraphQL API, and an Astro frontend — working directly with the CTO.
